Law of Attraction-The Secret to Control Your Thoughts (Day 2)

In 2003, I changed my job from a private to a government-linked company. Within two weeks since I started work, I have this negative emotion that the government working style is not my cup of tea. However, I did not dare to do anything to address the uneasy feeling and kept my job.
Two years passed really quickly. I became less and less happy working in the job. I was originally a very motivated person but I became negative about myself and finally I hated myself for becoming such an unmotivated person. At that time, I saw no solution to solve the situation. I was trapped within my own negative thoughts.
In 2005, I met my turning point. I was introduced to a healing teacher. Through visualization techniques, he let me visualize and saw the reason why I hated my job and my ex-boss. My ex-boss reminded me of my mum, who created much fear in me when I was young. I was powerless towards my mum and so was I towards my ex-boss in the job.
During the visualization session, I also imagine what kind of person I really want to be. I used to be a motivated, cheerful person and I want to be the same. Through my awareness, I finally realized it was wrong for me to just ignore the recurring negative emotions I felt about my job. Whilst I pretended everything was fine on the surface, but I felt so miserable within.
After acknowledged my true feelings, I quit my job. I knew I could not change the company culture or my ex-boss’s personality. However, I now believed that I have full control over the situation. I can change my environment I am working in. Till today, I never regretted for making the decision to quit, I only regretted that I took too long to take control of my life.
Maybe you might feel the same way about your marriage, your career, your body, and your circumstances. The universe is sending you an alarm, telling you that you are having thoughts that are not the reality you wish to face.
If you are feeling this same way now, do yourself a favor. Acknowledge your true feelings and then ask what can you do about it. You have to love yourself before you expect others to love you.
If you keep thinking the same thoughts, you will keep having the same negative emotions. Your action will not be different from the past and you will attract more negative circumstances.
Now that you know my story, I want you to start observing your feelings when you are thinking. The feelings hold the key to your success.
