Visualized.Feel.Abundance

Hi Folks,

I just returned from World Internet Mega Summit 2007 (Singapore) today and what I heard today from all the experts and gurus are similar to what I have been sharing here in the last couple of post. It’s all about you taking action if you wish to change your life.

There was a lady by the name of Tracy Repchuk who share her story about taking actions after attending WIS2006 in Las Vegas. Now she had just made close to US$100,000 on the internet in just over 9 months.

Right, so not everyone is so successful but thats not the point. The point I want to put through is that she took action after attending a seminar about making money on the internet. She had visions about making money on the internet, put what she learned into practice, drove negative thoughts aside, persisted and succeeded!

Could you do it? Yes you can, if you are willing to take action.

Jay Abraham was at the summit and he said that there are basically 3 types of people:

1) The achievers - they are people who took action
2) The observers - they come, they see, they do nothing
3) The complainers - they come, they see, they blame everything but themselves

Someone, some post, some email or some blog drove you here to read my post. Which group from the above do you belong to at this moment? Jay said that you have a choice to improve your situation at this very moment, no matter which group you belong to. If you are a complainer, you can get better by stop complaining and start observing and see what you could work on to improve your life! If you are an observer, you can get better by taking action! If you are already an achiever, you can get better by doing more to become the best of the achievers. You can decide right now, at this very moment, DO you want to be better?

If you want to be better, I challenge you to post your commitment here! Come back regularly to improve on yourself and be reminded of your commitment posted here. You will succeed if you are willing to do it and take immediate action. As Jay said during the summit, if you are not willing to take action to improve upon yourself? You are not even qualified to be here! Well, he is a lot more direct than me.

Think about it but DO TAKE ACTION! It’s your life, not mine that is on the line.

I just read Ashley’s (a friend, reader and fellow blogger) post over at Myspace about her experience using Law of Attraction when she was only 5 yrs only and It got me thinking about my daughter, Stella.

Stella is an imaginative girl that likes to dream of being a beautiful princess and loves all things about being pretty. I remember what she did the first time she saw “The Secret” DVD with her mummy. After the scene where the boy got his bicycle after visualizing and putting up a picture of his dream bicycle, Stella drew up pictures of her favorite dolls and paste it outside her door.

She began to tell everyone about it and 2 weeks later, she got exactly what she wanted from 2 separate sources. One was her grandpa and the other, a lucky dip prize from a purchase during her birthday. So again, was it miracle?

I say it was a miracle. A miracle why so many adults could not do what she did? So what was the secret?

The secret is simple, after she visualized and put up her “Vision Board” (simply a drawing of what she love and wanted), she took action and told everyone about it!

It is this very step that most adults (who put up vision boards, state goals, practice visualization and practice Law of Attraction) don’t do at all!! Ask yourself, honestly, have you told anyone about your dreams/vision/goal after you put them up on a vision board and started visualizing? You may have told your other half (which you should) but have you told your best friend, told your boss (especially if it’s work related), told you dad or mum, told your siblings, told your neighbor, told your postman, etc. Hard to tell them right? But guess what? That’s what kids do! They have a dream and most of them will tell the whole world, irregardless of relevance!

I know the power of asking and telling and yet again and again I am surprise at the power of it. Even more surprised that most of us forget to use it as we grow older. I know because I am also guilty of not telling or asking sometimes even as I’m writing this very post.

If you are reading this post, I would like you to take a look at your vision board again and ask yourself - “Have I told anyone about my dreams. Especially those who ought to know about it?”. If you think not, take action and tell them.

Hey friends, how was the video from MoMo yesterday?

Did you like it? I love it and hope you did.

So what have you gained from MoMo’s sharing? What have you deduced from my stories and sharing?

That’s right, it’s all about James 1st Principle - “If you want something, you have to at least do something to get it”.

Let’s recap on the story I told yesterday about the girl having a crush. In a similar situation, another girl also had a crush a classmate (Only this time, the guys did not really have killer looks or swarms of girls around him). She was also too shy to tell him but decided to share with her girlfriends. Guess what? Her girlfriends told the guys about it and the 2 of them end up an item in their college days? Fairy tale? Nope, it’s a true story of myself in college (yeah, I was that guy without killer looks).

So the main point I am trying to impress upon is that “The universe seeks to help those that help themselves”. I call this James 2nd Principle.

Think about the story about the lady who needed $500 in MoMo’s Video. She could have sat around manifesting about finding $500 but not do anything or she could do what she did, wrote a letter to MoMo expressing her situation and got a helping hand! Did she expect that? Maybe yes, probably no but it does not matter. Fact is that help came after she took action! See … James 2nd Principle in action. Cool right!

Now, think back again about your life, your experience. Think about situations where you wanted something but did not take action. Think about situations where you wanted something and took action. Were the results in line with James 1st and 2nd Principle?

In my last post, I mentioned “Nothing Equals Nothing” and that “If you do not help yourself, the universe can only help you so much!” That is the basic principle I advocate when practicing success. If you want something, you have to at least do something to get it.

Now, I would like you to think back again from your past experience. Have you ever encounter the following situation or similar situation.

You had a crush on a handsome classmate. He always has swarms of girls around him and you are too shy to make a move on him. You keep the little crush a secret even from your best friend. You only steal glances at him. But you dream all you want, all day long, all night long that he’s your steady but never make any sort of move but nonetheless you hope your dream will come true. The years went by and you graduated but nothing from your dream came true. Sad? Definitely. But hey, whats the problem? You manifested all year long but why does it not come true? Well, if you think back again, you could probably recall a ton of instances where you could have made some sort of move on him. But you did not take it. The universe did conspire to help you but you did not help yourself!

Which brings me back to my basic principle I advocate when practicing success. If you want something, you have to at least do something to get it. Let’s call this principle, James 1st Principle (so that I do not have to always repeat the long phrase, plus it’s kind of cool).

I would like to take this chance to share this video from YouTube by MoMo. This great fellow advocates similar principles to mine and he creates cool videos to share them. So I’ll let him do the talking and I’ll be back tomorrow to share my thoughts. Oh and take note of how simple the things you have to do to satisfy James 1st Principle in the video. The universe ask very little and gives a lot. Enjoy.

In my last post on “The Secret - Practicing Success“, I mentioned that “When I feel happy, I am motivated and I wanted more, thought more about it, dreamed more about it, visualize more of it. And just like they say in “The Secret” - The universe conspires to help you get what you want!”

So how does “The universe conspires to help you get what you want!”?

Actually, everyone experiences this phenomenon, it’s just that you do not recognized it as it is. I would like you to think back to see if you had similar experiences that goes like this:

Karen got pregnant a couple of years ago and during her pregnancy period, she told me “Darling, I didn’t know there were so many pregnant ladies taking the MRT (thats our electric train service in Singapore) to work?” I told her, there were a lot of them all along, you just didn’t notice them.

Does it sound familiar? The moment you were interest in a particular topic/idea/object, it suddenly pops up all over the place, all around you? Deja Vu? Nope, it’s simply your mind tuning to a specific idea/vision in your mind and suddenly you can pick that specific idea/vision out of the crowd. Magic? Nope, it’s just simple application of the like attracting the like. The moment your mind is tuned to the subject or vision, you are subconsciously looking out for similar subject or vision. Hence, it would seem like the whole universe is out to help you!

I believe that there are many, many other instances which you can recall that “The universe conspires to help you get what you want!”. I would like to invite you to share your experiences here.
