9 Secret Steps To Life Transformation: Find Your Dreams

Hi Folks,

Now that you have taken back your 100% responsibility and given your gratitude. The next step is to dream up your dream. Thats right, now you need to find out what your dream is.

Some you will probably say “Geez, It that same old stuff again! I have been dreaming a million dollar but it never work!”, right? But is that really your dream? Or is it merely an ends to your dream?

I have heard of many who dreams are “To earn a million dollars a year”. One of those who gave this answer is Jim. So I ask Jim:

Me: “What do you feel when you think of this dream?”

Jim: “Ummm, Happy, Financially Free, Can finally sack my boss?”

Me: “I mean what do you feel inside your HEART when you think of this dream?”

Jim: “Hah? What do you mean by that?”

Me: “Happy, Rushed, Passionate, urged to get out and do something, that kinda thing?”

Jim: “Ummm, Happy I guess”

You see, many people do not realized that they do not know how to chose a dream (or ultimate goal, I use them interchangeably). What they usually chose is something they think will make them happy but do not feel it at all. Thats because, the thing that they thought was their dream was really just a stepping stone (an intermediate goal to their real dream only). If you cannot feel the passion, excitement, motivation, elation, urge to do something when you think of your dream, how are you ever going to achieve it? Where is that fuel to drive your Dream making machine? So can you achieve a dream like this one? NEVER!

So I ask Jim again:

Me: “What are you going to do when you earn a million dollar a year?”

Jim: “Oh probably quit my job, buy a big house, a new car and do whatever I want!”

Me: “So are you excited about that? Do you feel the rush?”

Jim: “Ummm, somewhat? Probably feel more at doing whatever I want!”

Me: “So what is the ‘whatever’ you want to do?”

Jim: “Ummm, maybe I can start a comic bookshop business. I love reading comics. In fact, I can’t stop reading comics. You know, I’ll probably open a chain of those stores country wide! I’ll rent them, sell them, create reading corners for readers, maybe a cafe within the shop, …. ” and he rattles on for the next 30 minutes.

OK, pause there. Can you feel the excitement in the reply? Can you feel the passion in the way they speak of THAT dream? You can actually feel the energy vibrating out of Jim. He can paint his dream verbally. That IS a dream. This dream will do well because it stirs the feelings and creates a huge amount of positive energy that will fuel him to take action. He probably does not realized that at that moment he was actually visualizing his dream by describing it so vividly to me.

Now I want you to take some time to think about that dream that you have set for yourself. Did it create the type of feelings and emotions in the first example (the “Ummm” example) or the second example (”30 minutes rattling example”).

Take your time, I’ll be back in the next post. :)

Love,
James
