9 Secret Steps To Life Transformation: How To Keep Your Dreams Alive (Part 1)
Hey Folks,
I’m back with Step 5 of “9 Secret Steps To Life Transformation“. If this is the first time you are visiting my blog, you may want to catch up on the previous four steps first:
Step 1 - Take Back Your Full Responsibility
Step 2 - Show Gratitude To What You Have
Step 3 - Find Your Dreams
Step 4 - Visualize Your Dreams
Now that you have defined and built your “Ladder of Dreams” in Step 3 and learn the basic visualization process in Step 4, you will need to work on keeping your dreams alive? Why do you need to keep your dream alive? Simple, if your dream dies, you WILL LOSE the motivation to achieve it!
Picture this:
“You were enthusiastic, even thrilled, when you started setting goals/dreams, writing up your plans for your new project. You set up your vision board and visualized. You got down the real action and started implementing whatever you needed to do to achieve your goal. Few weeks later, you were to caught up with the action to spent some time with your vision board and do some visualization but the feeling for your dreams were strong. A few months later, things were tough but you are still managing however, you start to wonder if it was all worth it. Another few months later, you throw in the tower! It does not feel worthwhile to work the project anymore, you can’t even remember how your dream felt when you got started! Sounds familiar?”
The most common reason when people quit their dreams, other than not achieving any results, is losing the feeling. Once you lose the feeling, you lose your motivation! Then suddenly, you feel that your dream is not worthy of your effort. You start to feel unmotivated and worst, you start to find excuses why you should not be doing whatever you wanted to do for your project!
Have you ever felt that way before? I know I had and far too often in the past.
So how do you keep your dreams alive? You feed your Dreams with “Vitamin F”. That’s “F” for feelings. More accurately, positive feelings, any feelings that makes you feel good!
And Just how do you do that? From my experience, I know of 3 methods to do keep my dreams alive:
1) Visualization Method
2) Realization Method
3) Businessman Method
Stay tune for part 2 and 3 of “How To Keep Your Dreams Alive” on 28th and 29th June respectively where I’ll share about the 3 methods.
Love,
James
PS: I had a long break between Step 4 and step 5 and Karen took over the blog because somehow during this period, I just could not find the right words to pen down my thoughts! My apologies to you my dear readers and thank you for staying with me. Today, I had just a little of that writing feeling again and I just kept on writing. Cheers!
